Helen was an active, vibrant woman who loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors. She found great pleasure working her garden. She was especially proud of her Mr. Lincoln roses. Helen was an expert fisherwoman, an activity she enjoyed with her husband Charles, her children and her brother Mark. She had a passion for antiquing and furniture refinishing. With her skilled hands and keen eye, she transformed the old into something beautiful, leaving behind cherished pieces that reflect her many labors of love.

She will be remembered for kindness, strength, gentleness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Helen’s radiant spirit and love of life touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.

She had a deep faith and love for her church. She lived her life with the unwavering belief that in her passing, she would be embraced by the comforting arms of her heavenly father.

Helen leaves behind her loving husband, Charles Potter, to whom she has been married for 43 years; six beloved children, Richard Jones, Douglas Jones, Kenny (Julie) Potter, Roxanne Sedar, Becky (Chris) Snyder and Ann Jones; eight cherished grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear brothers and sisters, a loving extended family, including nieces, nephews and many friends.
