Dennis Dillingham

Oct 18, 2024

Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend

Dennis Dwayne Dillingham, 76, passed peacefully on October 12, 2024.

Born April 15, 1948, in Payson, Utah to Dwayne and Leona Jackman Dillingham, he grew up with his brother, Lynn, and sisters, Janice and Linda.

After graduating from Provo High School in 1966, Dennis studied Accounting. He navigated his career and life with a strong work ethic, meekness, and humility.

He and his eternal companion, Jacquiline Young, whom he affectionately called “Locks,” were sealed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Manti Temple on June 14, 1968. Love, mutual devotion, and unity flourished in their 56 years together.

Their seven children Dan (Diana) Dillingham, Shawnette (Juan) Dillingham, Mishelle (Scott) Browning, Shelena (Shane) Crowton, Alicha (Aaron) Mills, Kristen (Ryan) Steele, and Chandra (Darin) Jackson, 33 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren knew him to be Christ-centered, quick-witted, and family- focused.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dennis served joyfully and selflessly in many callings. He was witty, funny, and full of life. We take comfort in knowing we will see him again.

A viewing will be held in his honor on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at the Layton Myers Mortuary. On Saturday, October 26th there will be a viewing from 9:30-10:30am, and funeral services will follow at 11:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2375 E. 3225 N. Layton, Utah, Dennis will be laid to rest at Layton Memorial Park, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
