Renee Sharon Beaudoin

Renee Sharon Beaudoin, Runsvold, Cornelisen has slipped the bonds of mortality and now abides in the hearts and minds of her two children: Mitch Runsvold and Lana Cornelisen.

Renee was born in the Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah on August 26,1943 to Ivan (Ike) Earl Beaudoin and Vergie Mae Williams Beaudoin, and she died in the McKay Dee Hospital on September 29, 2024 at age 81. She grew up in Layton, Utah and graduated from Davis High School. She was among the first alumni of Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas where she studied Journalism. The study led her to a long career as a Technical Writer and Editor. This was an ongoing interest and she branched into writing personal experience vignettes and adventures, along with her other hobbies of watercolor painting and cooking.

Renee is preceded in death by her siblings Yvonne Beaudoin Phelps Davis (Vonnie) and Guy Beaudoin, two husbands Albert Runsvold and Larry Cornelisen.

Renee’s nieces were Vonnie’s daughters, Mitzi Phelps Lloyd (Doug) and Kristi Phelps, Knox, Dinneen (George). Her brother Guys’ son Dax Beaudoin filled the role of nephew.

She leaves behind two grandchildren, Jeniffer and Colton Runsvold. Jennifer supplied three great grandchildren: Roy, Clasie, and Annalea. Clasie presented her with a great-great grandchild, Elli. Colton added grandchildren as well, Charlotte, Christian, and Caroline Runsvold.

Her ashes shall reside in an urn of her family’s choosing.

There will be no public service.
