Martin “Robb” Davis (1940-2024)

On September 10th, 2024, we said goodbye to our dad, Martin Robb Davis who was 83 years young and passed away in Rancho Mirage, CA. Born in Portland Oregon on November 7th, 1940, at age 24 he moved with his family from Ogden, UT, where he spent most of his youth, to Southern California. After graduating Weber State University, he moved to California in 1965 and spent the rest of his life living his Southern California dream. Robb was an avid tennis player and instilled his love of tennis in some of his children. Robb won many tennis championships throughout his life, some with his children, and played regularly until a stroke restricted his mobility in 2015. Robb had a long, successful, and fulfilling career developing land, RV, and mobile home parks. He was a people person and enjoyed entertaining at home and traveling the world. He was known for his sense of humor, quick wit, and searching out the next opportunity. He loved playing Santa Claus for kids in the community and spoiling his grandchildren. The last year of his life he enjoyed living in the Bayshire community with his good friends where they spent time listening to live music, playing penny poker, and just hanging out. Robb is survived by his children Roger Davis, Becky Davis, April Davis (Robert) and Pollyanna Quigley (Justin), 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Sherrie, beloved parents Orville Lester and Rose Davis, and sisters Marylin and Margret. Robb’s memory will be cherished by those who knew him and will continue to tell his stories for decades to come.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah. Friends and family may visit Saturday from 9:45-10:45am preceding services. Interment will follow the services at West Weber Cemetery.
