Carol Ann McEntire
Carol Ann McEntire, age 80, passed away November 22, 2024 at home. Carol was born August 18, 1944 in Ogden, Utah to Jamie Hobart Strange and Eleanor Artell Durfee. She married Jay W. McEntire.
Carol was the most loving, giving, graceful, and self-sacrificing mother anyone could dream of having. She kept a beautiful home and an immaculate yard with a lovely rose garden.
She enjoyed fishing, golfing, crossword puzzles, snow skiing, and spending time with her family. As an avid reader, she especially loved biographies and non-fiction books. Her pets, Dolce, Prada, and Kitty Manny had a special place in her heart. In her loving and compassionate spirit, Carol extended herself in helping her neighbors during times of need and illness.
She is survived by her sons, Eldon “Bill” and Michael Kimball; 1 granddaughter, Tiffany Kimball; 3 great-grandchildren, Breeanna, Mikayla, and Kairi. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay McEntire, a grandson, Justin Kimball, and her brother Carmon Strange.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 at 1:00 in the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, prior to services.
