Julie Marie Fisher Beasley

Nov 19, 2024

August 4, 1949 — November 16, 2024

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, Julie Marie Fisher Beasley was freed from the struggles of her mortal self, just two short months after her loving husband left this world.

Julie was born August 4, 1949, in Swalwell, Alberta, Canada. Later her and her family moved to Beisker where her mother and father are buried.

She was naturalized and was proud to be an American but never lost her love for Canada. She worked for many years for the IRS and built a community of friends and coworkers.

Julie could not say enough about the pride she had in the family her boys Sam and Tom had made for themselves. There were very few conversations with her that didn’t include inquiries about and adorations for her grandchildren, Jacob, Elijah, Jasmyn, Sam, and Jackson. Her first great-grandchild, Roman, was another chapter in the growing number of people who she held so close to her heart. Julie’s love for her family was further manifested by the lavish Christmas, Easter, and Birthday parties she held at her home. She would often complain about having to do all the cooking but put plenty of love into the delicious creations she shared.

She had an incredible devotion to Christ through her Catholic heritage. Despite the challenges she faced later in life her faith only grew stronger. She was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church until she was no longer capable of attending in person, after which she very much appreciated the home ministry of receiving the Eucharist. Her rosary was her great solace in the care of the Blessed Mother.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel Street, Layton.

On Thursday, November 21st, a Rosary and Vigil will be held from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington, followed by friends visiting with family from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be on Saturday, November 23rd, at 11 a.m. at Hooper Cemetery.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Habitat for Humanity.
