Patricia J. Martinez Santistevan

Patricia J. Martinez Santistevan, 79, of Ogden, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 11, 2024.

Born on December 4, 1944, Patricia was raised in Questa, New Mexico, where she graduated from Questa High School with Honors.

She dedicated her life to helping others as a social worker at the Department of Workforce Services in Ogden, Utah, where she served for 30 years. Her compassion and commitment to her work touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on her community.

Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family more than anything in the world. She loved to spend time with her loved ones, either cooking or treating them to meals at their favorite restaurants ensuring our bellies were full. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and was a devoted fan of her favorite singer, Paul Anka, whose music brought her great joy.

Patricia is survived by her 3 children, Fred (Ruby) Martinez, Diana (Brian) Simpson, Gina Martinez, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Anita Gonzales (Grandma Nita), father Felix G. Quintana, and her son Bobby Martinez.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 11 a.m – 2 p.m. at Jeremiah’s Lodge and Garden 1329 W. 12th Street Ogden, UT 84404, with a program to begin at 11:30.
