Carol Trena Bramwell Montgomery
May 16, 1949 — November 15, 2024
Our Sweet Mom passed away in the early morning hours of November 15, 2024, with her loving husband by her side. She fought so hard to stay with her family as her body battled a quick, and unexpected ugly cancer.
Carol Trena Bramwell was born to loving parents Arthur & Charlotte Bramwell on May 16, 1949, in Ogden Utah.
Mom grew up in Ogden on Harrisville Road (5 Points) where she said, “She had a good life at home with plenty of fun.” Her first job was at A&W Drive In in Ogden as a Car Hop. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School, Class of 1967 and went on to graduate in the Dental Assisting Program at Hill Air Force Base. She worked as a Dental Assistant for 8 years and then wanted to stay home and raise her kids.
She married our dad in the Ogden LDS Temple on May 30, 1975, and had a wonderful testimony of the Savior.
As we have thought about memories of her, we remember her for Loving Everyone and as someone that we never heard speak an unkind word about anyone.
She is survived by her eternal sweetheart, Jay Clyde Montgomery; her son and daughters, who lovingly took care of her in her final weeks: Janet (Joshua) Sorenson, Steven Montgomery, Janell Montgomery, Rachelle Montgomery; her grandkids, that loved her dearly: Jaymon and Jaylie Sorenson and Kenzie and Weston Montgomery; her sweet sister, Sandra Bramwell Stauffer; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews who she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Arthur Jr. Bramwell.
Family was important to her, and she loved getting together with us and she deeply cherished our family. In her last final weeks, she told us many times how much she loved us and held our hands.
Special thanks to her dear friends in her neighborhood of Hooper, McKay Dee Hospital Staff, Stonehenge, Atlas Home Health & Intermountain Healthcare Hospice, for watching over our Mother during her fight to stay with us.
Viewing Reception will be on November 21, 2024, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Graveside Service will follow at 12 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Ogden, Utah. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. at the LDS Church, 5601 S. 6100 W. Hooper, Utah.
We Love You Mom!!
