Gaylene Larsen Dabb, age 74, passed away from pancreatic cancer on Friday, November 8, 2024, at her home in Plain City. She was born May 17, 1950, in Ogden, to Leon and Eula (Poulsen) Larsen. She graduated from Weber High School in 1968.

She married Keith Dabb on December 13, 1968, in the Salt Lake Temple. She worked as the head secretary for Wahlquist Jr. High and taught piano for many years from her home in Harrisville. After retirement, she worked as a secretary for the Arizona Fine Arts Expo.

Gaylene had an amazing ability to make people feel comfortable, accepted, and loved. She loved unconditionally, accepted everyone into her heart, and gave without hesitation. Gaylene was happiest when with her family. Her smile and eyes would brighten upon the mere mention of her kids or grandkids. Her passing will leave an indelible void in her family and friends’ hearts.

Gaylene is survived by her husband, Keith Dabb; sons, Jason (Marci) Dabb, Jeremy (Stacie) Dabb, and Justin (Mercy) Dabb; daughters, Jenn Dabb, JaNae (Damon) Whitmer, and Jessie (DJ) Fisher; brothers, Ron Larsen and Larry (Linda) Larsen; sister, Shari (Allen) Stephens; 13 granddaughters; 4 grandsons; and 1 great-granddaughter. She now joins her beloved mother and father, Leon and Eula Larsen, in heaven.

All whose lives Gaylene touched are invited to join her family in celebrating her at a funeral service on November 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Plain City Cemetery.
