Robert LaMar Perry

Marriott-Slaterville – Robert LaMar Perry died 11-1-24. Bob was born September 13, 1933 to Jasper and Celia Montgomery Perry in Slaterville, Utah. He graduated from Weber High School in 1951. On March 5, 1953, he married Carol Martin. They had three children: Scott (Debbie Johnson) Perry of Clovis, CA, Kip (Steve) Cleveland of Lehi, UT, and Jeff (LeeAnn) Perry of San Diego, CA. They divorced on June 2, 1970. He then married Sharen Powers on May 23, 1981 and lived in Marriott-Slaterville. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base for almost 38 years, most of which was as a quality assurance specialist in missile electronics, spending some of that time at the Minuteman and Titan missile sites. He retired in 1989 and then worked at part-time jobs, including one at a golf shop.

He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing, gardening, and especially golfing. He and Sharen volunteered as ushers at Peery’s Egyptian Theater for nineteen years.

He is survived by his wife, three children, eleven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Thanks to many neighbors and Elevation Hospice nurses for their help in his last days.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 with the viewing at 10 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. at Marriott-Slaterville Church, 250 No. 1500 W., Marriott-Slaterville, Utah. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
