Paul “Rocky” Medina
Paul “AKA Rocky” didn’t say much but let his presence be known.
Paul was involved in many activities during his younger years: scouting, handicapped mutual, special Olympics, and bowling.
Paul was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his fathers and brothers. But he enjoyed throwing rocks in the water a lot more, to the dismay of his fellow fishermen.
Paul thoroughly enjoyed all “Rocky” movies and adopted the name “Rocky”. If you wanted his attention, you called him “Rocky”, which always brought a smile to his face and thumbs up.
Paul was always eager to share a hug or handshake and once he met you were his friend forever.
In his younger years he would “cruise the boulevard” with his brother Eddie by his side and loved waiving at everyone. He loved stopping at Farr’s Ice Cream during his many cruising.
Paul and his mother moved to Washington for health reasons and to be near his sister and family. He made many more lifetime friends and grew very close to his nieces and family. He always enjoyed the family gatherings and BBQ’s, despite the rains. He liked to play with Kinetic Sand and cards
We will always be grateful that Paul taught us all how to be accepting and loving of all. He will be forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
Paul is survived by his mother, Maria Medina; sister, Josephine Marquez; and brother, Eddie Medina. He was preceded in death by his father, Ricardo Medina; and brothers, Jose R. Medina and Daniel Medina; and sister, Irngard Medina Vasquez.
