1962 – 2024

Molly Louise Rands peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She was born March 27, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she lived till late elementary age when her family moved to North Ogden.

Molly graduated from Weber High School in 1980, eventually becoming a licensed beautician. She married Gary Rands on December 17, 1982, eternally sealed in the Ogden, UT Temple. Together they built a life full of love and cherished memories. Despite living with challenges from MS, Molly lived her life with faith, strength and grace.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary, her son Schuyler Rands (Heather Rands), her daughter Twelve Briscoe (Ronnie Briscoe), her son Josh Rands, and thirteen grandchildren. Molly is also survived by her parents, Kenneth Duane and Rutha Mae Raught, her brother Gary Raught (Kelly Raught), and her sister Valerie Parkinson (Steven Parkinson).

Molly was a beacon of love and kindness, known for her open heart and generous spirit. She lovingly embraced many adopted children and grandchildren, offering them extra love and support. Her legacy of compassion and care will be cherished by all that were fortunate to be part of her extended family. Molly was easy to love, and we are all better because of her life. She will be greatly missed. So, between now and then may the angels of heaven surround her until our next embrace.

Services in her honor will be held at the North Ogden East 22nd LDS church, located at 900 E. 2850 N. North Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church Friday, August 2, 2024, 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. followed by her Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Molly will be laid to rest at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 N. North Ogden, Utah.

Deep gratitude to Molly’s Angels – Carol, Julie, Bonnie, Denise, Rayann, Barbara and Anita, who’s visits brought joy and comfort, she truly loved all of you ladies.
