Judy Poulsen Green

Jul 2, 2024

April 19, 1941 — June 30, 2024

Our sweet wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Judy Poulsen Green, 83 of Washington, Utah, passed away on June 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 19, 1941, in Logan, Utah, to her parents, Howard and Lanora Poulsen. She spent her early childhood in Providence, Utah and moved to Clearfield when she was 13 years old.

She attended North Davis Jr. High where she met the love her life, Blair Green. They were voted King and Queen of the Valentine’s Dance in the 9th Grade and attended Davis High School together. They were married August 14, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Utah Temple. Judy and Blair celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in August of 2023.

Judy was an avid reader and loved golfing, bowling, fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She loved making baby quilts, giving away many, as she felt every new baby deserved a soft, homemade quilt. Judy will be remembered for the love she had for family and the joy she brought as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. We are proud that Mom will be receiving an award for her outstanding record of surviving Type 1 Diabetes for 56 years.

Judy was an active member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings throughout her life serving in multiple Relief Society Presidencies. She was a perfect example of Christlike love and service.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Blair Green and her cute dog, Danny. Her children Gary (DeeDee) Green, Kent (Dayna) Green, Diana (Ray) Peragallo. Also survived by her siblings, Vickie Balaich and Rex Poulsen. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank Dixie Hospice for the tender and loving care they provided these past few weeks.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lindquist Syracuse Mortuary. 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse UT. Friends may visit with family prior to the services from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be at the Syracuse City Cemetery. 1250 South 1000 West, Syracuse UT.
