Linda Clinger Williams, Age 83
1941 – 2024
On December 17, 2024, Linda Clinger Williams passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, following complications from a fall.
Linda was born on August 12, 1941, in St. George, Utah, to Raymond and Oleatha Clinger. She was sealed to Dayne Williams in 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Linda attended Dixie High School and graduated from West High School in 1959. She earned an Associate of Science degree from Dixie Junior College in 1961 and later attended the University of Utah. While at Dixie College, Linda met the love of her life, Dayne Williams.
Linda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She devoted her time and talents to serve both her church and community. She left a lasting impact on countless lives as a resident of Taylor, Utah for the past fifty years. She also participated in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Linda was an amazing mother and grandmother, dedicating her life to her family. Her family will always cherish her wisdom, her selfless acts of love, and her unique ability to make everyone feel special. She poured her heart and creativity into making quilts for her grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Her meals were more than just food; they were a reflection of her nurturing spirit and desire to bring comfort to those she cared for. Her ability to listen, guide, and uplift those she loved will never be forgotten. Her legacy continues to shine through the lives of all who knew her.
She is now reunited with her parents and her sisters, Connie Clinger and Della Baxter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dayne; her sister, Jackie; her nine children Tod (Esther), Andrea, Tim (Lynette), Trenton (Patricia), Travis (Holly), Theron (Melanie), Arlene (Matt), Alissa (Scott), Amber (Kipp); 33 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
