Elizabeth van Beuge

It is with profound sorrow, yet immense gratitude for a life vibrantly lived, that we announce the passing of Elizabeth van Beuge, fondly known as “Ann.” Born on September 17, 1943, in Ogden, UT, Elizabeth lived a life characterized by her generosity, spirited nature, and empathy. A woman of faith, she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Elizabeth’s service to others was her life’s melody, a symphony of love that touched the hearts of many.
Elizabeth was an extraordinary teacher who dedicated over 30 years of her life to the Weber County School District, retiring in 1999 from Lakeview Elementary. Her thoughtful and empathetic nature made her a cherished pillar within the school community and a beacon of inspiration to her students. Elizabeth’s love for learning extended beyond the school walls, as evidenced by her Bachelor’s Degree from Weber State College. Outside the classroom, Elizabeth’s spirit thrived in her hobbies–sewing, cross-stitching, playing piano and guitar, and fishing. As a proud member of the Redhat Ladies, she found joy and camaraderie.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert van Beuge, and her parents, Leo and Elizabeth Reynolds, she now joins them in eternal peace.
Elizabeth’s life, a testament to her generous spirit, enduring faith, and the love she shared, remains an enduring legacy.
