Shannon Browning Kapp King
1934 – 2023
Shannon passed away Monday, Oct 2, 2023 of natural causes at home surrounded by her family. She was born on Christmas Eve 1934, to Jess Oscar and Bessie Browning of Riverdale, Utah.
Educated through Weber County School District and was employed with the Weber County Circuit and Second District Courts, later retiring after 20 years of service.
Shannon married Marvin Kapp on July 12, 1952 – deceased June 25, 1959. She then married Jack Keith on July 27, 1963 – Deceased June 2, 1976. Then last but not least , she married George W. C. King on December 5, 1980 – deceased November 11, 1998.
It has always been a goal of hers to go through the temple. On October 5, 2001, Shannon was sealed to her first husband, Marvin Kapp, in the Ogden, LDS Temple.
She is survived by her four children: Scott Kapp, Randy (Sharee) Kapp, LaNeise Tracy, Tamra Khousakoune (Chuck) Love. She has 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jess Oscar and Bessie Browning; sister, Jessie Bowles; brother, Jack Browning.

Graveside service will be held Thursday Oct 5, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden UT .
A viewing will be Wednesday Oct 4th from 6-8 p.m. for family and friends at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West in Roy.
