Beth Marie Richards
March 12, 1962 — September 16, 2022
Beth Marie Richards, 60, returned to our Lord and Savior on September 16, 2022.
She was born in Ogden, UT on March 12, 1962 to Gerald M. and Martha “Mickey” Murphy Richards.
Beth attended local schools and was able to participate in the Special Olympics. She lived in Ogden all her life and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Beth was a loyal, dedicated fan of the Denver Broncos, Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake, and the Atlanta Braves. It was always exciting to watch a game with her! She was able to attend many Utah Jazz games, which gave her great joy.
Beth loved dogs and babies. She bowled on a league for many years at Ben Lomond Lanes. She loved telling her fishing stories and camping. She had an enormous heart and loved everyone unconditionally. She had so much compassion for everyone, even people she didn’t know. She always teared up when there was bad news on the TV – and she was a big flirt!
Beth was a Pretty Woman.
Beth is survived by her mother, Martha Ann “Mickey” Richards, Ogden; sisters, Jan (Jerry) Kennedy; Bambi (Chuck) Dinsdale, all of Ogden; Nan (Steve) Searle, Georgia; Misty (Dean) Hansen, Brigham City; and by her brother, Jerry (Colleen) Richards, Roy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald M. Richards in 2009; her three aunts, Mona “Patty”, Margaret “Maggie”, and Michael “Scotty”; and by her baby brother, Jerry Edward, who passed in 1969.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden. Casual attire requested.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2023.
Cremation is in care of Lindquist Ogden Mortuary.
The family would like to thank Beth’s long time physicians, Dr. Renee West and Tammy, Dr. J. and all those at McKay-Dee Cardio ICU that took wonderful care of Beth and our family.
