Clarence Benjamin Nason

Our beloved Dad and Grandpa, Clarence Benjamin Nason, rode off into the sunset to be with the love of his life on November 10, 2022, at the age of 90 years old. Ben was born on August 2, 1932, in Del Norte, Colorado. His parents were Clarence Benjamin SR. and Maude Nason.

As a boy, Ben grew up helping his dad cut timber and loved causing mischief. He graduated from high school and shortly after he enlisted in the Air Force and served for ten years. There he learned his occupation as a sheet medalist working on commercial airplanes. Ben met the love of his life, Dollene, on a computer dating service and they were married in the Salt Lake temple on January 30, 1970. On September 26, 1971, their miracle daughter, Maryann, was born. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outside and camping with his family. He was actively involved in family history work and later in life, he and Dollene served two family history missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was determined, funny and a dedicated husband and father.

Ben was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Dollene who passed away on October 28, 2017. He is survived by his daughter Maryann Potter, son-in-law Patrick Potter, his sister Helen Johnson, his grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 18th, at 10:00 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 90 South 200 East, Santaquin, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Interment in Santaquin City Cemetery.
