Kirsten Pilkington

1993 — 2022
Kirsten Connie Pilkington, our daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter found peace on December 4, 2022, at Ogden Regional Hospital. She was born April 22, 1993, in Ogden, Utah to Karen Rhees Vause and Steven Pilkington. She graduated from Weber High and attended ATC to advance her welding skills.
Kirsten grew up a very sweet, kind, happy, easy-going child. She always worried about others and put others before herself. She had a deep compassion for people that were less fortunate than her. She loved laughing, singing, dancing, and beating the drum of life to her own beat. She had her own unique style and loved all things that were different and stood out. She had a funny obsession with goofy hats. Kirsten loved to travel, and be outdoors, she always wanted to live life freely outside.
She is survived by her mother Karen Vause & Dale Sterrett; father Steven Pilkington; step-dad Chad Colunga; siblings Cortney Colunga, Katie Vause, Cooper Vause, Kaylee Colunga; grandparents Marvin & Julienne Rhees, Connie Pilkington, and Kay & Terry Colunga; 2 nephews Camden & Nixon and many aunts; uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Steve Pilkington and two very special uncles Jake & Steven.
Kirsten now your spirit is free to travel wherever you want to go without the challenges from this earthly life. Your death is leaving us with a heartache no one can heal, our love for you is leaving a memory no one can steal. We love you so much!
A private family service will be held to honor her life.
Services entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
