Ogden Union Station to play host to celebration of city's 175th anniversary next week
OGDEN — Ogden City is turning 175 years old on Feb. 6, and you're invited to celebrate. Ogden Union Station is set to hold a celebration of the event on Feb. 6 from 6-9 p.m. in conjunction with the month's First Friday Art Stroll. "This is really meant to be a community celebration where we can get together and remember the city and what it's become since 1851," Hope Eggett, museum administrator for the Museums at Union Station, told the Standard-Examiner on Wednesday.
