Driver cited for impairment following Thursday evening crash in Ogden Canyon
A driver ended up with minor injuries and a citation for impaired driving following a crash in Ogden Canyon on Thursday night. Utah Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Cameron Roden told the Standard-Examiner on Friday that the accident occurred around 7:08 p.m. on state Route 39 about 3 miles into the canyon near Bridge Canyon Road when a GMC Sierra that was traveling through the canyon lost control and crashed into the Ogden River below.
