Source of Huntsville water supply leak located, under repair
HUNTSVILLE — Several days after virtually all of Huntsville's roughly 600 residents lost water service, the leak that caused the disruption has finally been discovered and its repair initiated. Mayor Richard Sorensen posted a picture to Facebook on Tuesday morning showing the area where the leak occurred along with the declaration, "The leak has been found." The trouble began on the night of Dec. 9 when, according to Sorensen, the declining water level in the town's million-gallon storage tank raised concerns about a potential leak.
