Provo-SLC railroad crossings clear regulatory hurdle to reinstitute quiet zones

The blaring train horns at some railroad crossings across the Wasatch Front will soon be silenced once again. Cities from Provo to Salt Lake City are now one step closer to restored railroad quiet zones, as the final crossing that was causing the holdup has been addressed, Lehi officials announced in a social media post Friday.
