'The Major' taken down after receiving heavy storm damage; will never fly again but will be repaired and displayed
NORTH OGDEN — "The Major" has made its final descent, but by no means its final appearance. Aubree Bosen, media specialist for the Honor the Hero Foundation, told the Standard-Examiner on Wednesday that the 78′ by 150′ American flag has been hung over Coldwater Canyon near North Ogden each Veterans Day since 2019 in honor of late North Ogden Mayor Maj.
