Two fatal crashes occur in northern Davis County Wednesday night
DAVIS COUNTY — Two men are dead after being hit by vehicles in collisions occurring in Layton and on Interstate 15 near Clearfield, respectively, Wednesday night. A 41-year-old Layton man was struck and killed by a white cargo van just after 8 p.m. while attempting to cross Main Street at 1120 North, according to a release from the Layton City Police Department. It was noted that the man was not in a designated crosswalk when struck by the northbound vehicle.
