Weber County Sheriff's Office: Teenage hiker died Thursday in Taylor Canyon
OGDEN — A juvenile male was killed in a hiking accident near Ogden last Thursday. On Tuesday, Lt. Colby Ryan told the Standard-Examiner that the Weber County Sheriff's Office and other agencies had been summoned to Taylor Canyon for a hiking accident around 5 p.m. Thursday. "We got a report of a missing hiker," he said. "A 17-year-old from out of state had gone hiking while family was out running errands. We paged out our search-and-rescue team and our drone team.
