OGDEN — A 45-year-old man is dead as a result of wounds suffered from a gunshot over the weekend. Per a news release from the Ogden City Police Department, officers responded to the 2800 block of Childs Avenue at approximately 3:58 a.m. Saturday morning following a report of a gunshot wound. The victim was said to have been in "critical condition" when responding officers located him on the scene. However, life-saving efforts ultimately proved unsuccessful.
