Mobile mammography units aim to make cancer screenings more accessible
Statistically, 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point during their lifetime, yet Utah still ranks in the bottom 30 among states when it comes to breast cancer screenings. Annual mammograms are the most important step women can take when it comes to detecting breast cancer early when it’s most treatable, doctors say.
