Hatch trails in state auditor race; Moore advances in congressional contest

Preliminary results are out for Weber County in the 2024 primary. In the Republican race for state auditor, Weber County Clerk/Auditor Ricky Hatch (112,582 votes, 43.06%) was trailing Deputy State Auditor Tina Cannon (148,848 votes, 56.94%) statewide as of 9:15 p.m. with 23 of 29 counties having at least partially reported. In Weber County, Hatch (13,785 votes, 60.40%) was ahead of Cannon (9,039 votes, 39.60%).
