Snowpack plunges to record low as Utah’s dry winter drags on

Whether you’re a skier or just enjoying the mountain views, the problem isn’t hard to see — there’s not much snow in Utah. Statewide snowpack has reached new record lows since measurement began in 1980, according to a report released Monday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.
