Two people ejected from truck in Powder Mountain Road crash

EDEN — Two people were injured Thursday afternoon when a box truck crashed into the mountainside in the area of 5300 N. Powder Mountain Road. According to Lt. Colby Ryan of the Weber County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the crash — which occurred when the truck's driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right shoulder of the road — at approximately 3:30 p.m. Both the driver and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle upon impact with the mountain.
