PROVO -- Boy Scouts officials say the 14-year-old run over by a trailer while picking up trash at a central Utah camp was just four merit badges from becoming an Eagle Scout.

The Daily Herald reports that Bruce "Rocky" Rhiddlehoover had been at the camp for two weeks before his death Tuesday night.

Rhiddlehoover played saxophone in his junior high school band and hoped to become an engineer.

Sanpete County Sheriff's say the boy got caught Tuesday beneath the tires of a flatbed trailer.

The teen was picking up trash for the truck driver as part of his nightly duties.

It's not known if the driver, who hasn't been identified, will be charged.

A funeral was being planned for Monday in the boy's hometown of Cedar Hills.
