Dog club offers testing Tuesday

OGDEN — The Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club will offer K-9 Good Citizenship testing at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Weber County Fairgrounds.

The testing costs $10 and will be in the exhibit hall on the fairgrounds northeast end.

The testing looks for good manners, including how the dog behaves around people and other dogs and performs basic commands.

Owners can possibly get a discount on their home insurance if they can show their dogs have passed this testing. It is also a first step to more advanced dog-training certificates.

For more information, call Rayna Fisher at 801-773-5750.
