BOUNTIFUL -- A national organization has honored the Bountiful City Finance Department for excellence for the 31st consecutive year.
The Government Finance Officers Association recently awarded Bountiful with a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report. The award is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting.
The GFOA is a nonprofit association serving approximately 16,000 government finance professionals with offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
