Ex-group home counselor in S. Utah sentenced for child porn

SALT LAKE CITY -- A former southern Utah group home counselor has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to making child pornography.

Eric Allen Glosson was sentenced Tuesday. The Salt Lake Tribune reports he'll also be on supervised release after serving his time, and will have to pay more than $11,000 in restitution and forfeit his electronic devices.

The 29-year-old Glosson admitted he coerced a 16-year-old boy into sexually explicit conduct, then recorded it with a video camera.

Glosson also faces child sex abuse charges in state court.

He had been a counselor at the Silverado Academy in Panguitch (PANG'-witch). Court documents don't say whether any victims were students at the academy.
