Learn to shoot for free

Two public shooting ranges in Northern Utah will offer free archery and firearm shooting this weekend and next.

Free equipment and instruction will be offered for those who don't have their own equipment, or don't know much about shooting.

The Lee Kay Shooting Range, 6000 W. 2100 South in Salt Lake City, will offer the free activities from noon to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The Cache Valley Shooting Range, 2851 W. 200 North in Logan, will offer free shooting and archery from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 11 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12.
