BOUNTIFUL -- A Centerville company has been awarded the city’s annual contract for sidewalk and curb work.
The city council recently approved, by unanimous vote, a bid from M C Green & Sons, Inc., to handle the city’s concrete repairs contract for approximately $405,497.
The contract is not tied to any specific project, according to Paul Rowland, city engineer.
The council approval was based on unit prices proposed for specific work, not on a set amount of money, according to Rowland. He anticipates a lot of small project work will be completed as part of the project year.
