State parks to consider Antelope Island hunting proposal

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Board of Utah State Parks and Recreation will meet next Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources in Salt Lake City.

Board members at the Sept. 28 meeting plan to take action on an Antelope Island hunting rule proposal, boating rule changes, and fee updates.

They will also consider a new representative for the Off-Highway Vehicle Advisory Council and receive an update on the Friends of Utah State Parks group.

The public is encouraged to attend.
